The real reason is that women are unable of viewing themselves as fat. They are literally completely deluded about how they look. You know those memes where you see a completely obese, shapeless women bragging about her "curves"? Most fat women believe that something about them is so attractive that it completely offsets their fatness, or they believe that they have "curves in the right places". A lot just wouldn't put it in their dating profile because bragging in your bio is viewed as trashy and classless.
