People have this misconception that things are moving online, and guys think that "ooo that means it's moving online dating"
when you see that huge spike of men online, guys for some reason attribute that to "ohh its all going to Tinder or Bumble or match.com,hinge etc"
so guys hop on these apps hoping that that's where the big amount of women is,which is actually not the case.
First of all, women only makeup 10% of the population on those apps.Tinder is 90% male,Bumble is 85%,match.com which is like the best is 77%
at best its 3 to 1,which makes you ask the question - where are the women dating ?
It's happening on social media, which begs the question. If a woman has access to social media and real life, why would she need to hop on a dating app ?
the guys that she can possibly date are already hitting her up through social media and she can vet them much better.
on online dating there's not enough filters, especially for a gender that gets thousands of options per 48 hours. For example, things are soo bad now, especially
since Covid, that if you put "female" blank profile with nothing in it,you'll get a 1000 matches in 48 hours, and double that for a regular female. She can't be
on that app,and a lot females even complain that "im getting too many matches its too insane" that's irrational human behaviour. When you're oversaturated with
choice you tend to dip out,its called The Paradox of Choice.
So basically what happens is women need more filters, what is the best filter a female has ? it's INSTAGRAM thats the number 1 because they can see the
consistency of your lifestyle, who your friends are, your education, how often do you travel, they can gauge your income, they can do all sorts of research, they're on
these apps ALL THE TIME,THEY LIVE MORE ON THESE APPS THAN THEY DO IN REAL LIFE especially during Covid.
Covid was the transition to full on that. The public sphere is gone now its all online sphere now.
This is where men cope, they say that "oh its all going online so you have a low barrier to entry, all i need is a few good pictures and a witty profile and i can have
access to women" which is delusional, that is too good to be true, you think its a low barrier to entry, nope. You needed to have a good Instagram since High School
you needed to have good pictures in High School, probably middle school now.You need consistency, consistently good pictures consistently going out
places,consistently traveling,consistently being social,consistently taking pictures on vacation,taking pictures with Dogs,pictures with Elephants,taking pictures
with other women etc
That's the most commonality in the Incel community, its not soo much the "muh looks PSL" issue. The number 1 commonality between Incels is the lack of a decent
social media presence.I'm not saying that having a good social media presence is a good thing,i think its a mentally ill thing and there's many flaws within it
but if you want to compete in this spike where they say most couples meet online now and are beginning to more and more, its not on online dating.
I don't know know any heterosexual long term couples that have met on online dating, that has never succeeded.
If it happens online it happens through social media.Men need to stop deluding themselves that there's a low barrier to entry if they just hop on an app, wont work.
You need an online portfolio, you need a resume,we have a scarce resource which are young women, and you are competing for that.
Which is why you're not gonna jump on some low barrier to entry app,its just like jobs, you're gonna need a good CV,you're gonna need good references. It's the same type of thing
