Insurance companies will gladly pay for you to get your dick cut off and estrogen for you to grow tits. The reason they do it is because they say it's good for the tranny's mental health and improves their quality of life.

But if an ugly man with sunken cheekbones and a recessed jaw needs surgery to improve his face and testosterone to improve his physique, insurance companies refuse to pay for it. Even though it will improve his quality of life and his mental state. They will just tell him to suck it up and get therapy. Insurance companies will say it's just cosmetic surgery.
