I consider myself attractive and I was an incel up until 3 weeks ago. I'm aged 27.
What went wrong? Horrible childhood meant poor social skills and severe isolation. I've spent almost my whole life rotting in a dark room. No friends, no contact, just silence.

This lead me to become an alcoholic even before I was 21. I was an alcoholic for 5+ years. No one wants to be near me when I drink.

I guess I can only blame myself but I want to blame my family. They let me do that to myself. Not a single family member tried to help me, no one told me that a life of isolation has serious consequences.

I can't look into people's eyes.
Now I'm an adult and I'm afriad of everything. Everything is complicated and foreign to me. I lack a ton of street smarts.
