- starting from puberty, they keep imagining IOIs, interpreting every random and completely meaningless milisecond of attention they got from a girl as a sign that she wants to fuck them
- this goes on till their late 20s, with them never taking action (because they are subconsciously aware that they are being delusional), but just using that delusion to prevent developing suicidal thoughts (ocassionally, they do approach girls in such situations, get brutally btfoed, spend the next 3 months depressed, but then tell themselves it just wasn't their day/they were wearing the wrong shirt/they didn't have good posture when initiating the conversation)
- during that period, they develop the idea that they are actually very attractive based on female "attention" they're getting
- once they reach 30 or so, they become so desperate that they start mass approaching roasties until they find one to betabuxx for, usually with a kid or two with a low inhib jock who doesn't even remember they exist
