They literally don’t even give an inch because your foot presses down on them I would say I lose about 50% of the supposed height gain so it’s like 0.5 inch height gain from lifts

Also JFL at people who larp height with shoes and lifts I’m 6’1 with both and Im still taller than 95% of people whether including zoomers.

183cm+ is still above average height JFL at people who say otherwise but obvious if you want to be tall you need to be 188cm+

God-tier heightfrauding recipe I have found:
1) high cut purpose-built elevator sneakers (can get ones that look like McQueens or Air Forces) that contain a full length insole. Go up one full size.
2) Hard synthetic cork heel lifts under the main insole, maybe 0.4-1.5 inch depending on the shoe.
3) Squishy NON-LIFT comfort insole on top (like a Dr Scholl work insole): adds a tiny bit more height but mainly helps with comfort a ton.

For me, this gives a little over 3 inches of real measured height increase, still walk ok, best paired with pants on the loose side.
So really, that's just 2-2.5 inches over people in normal shoes, but that can be pretty huge for a borderline manlet. It's diminishing returns the more lift you add because of the heel angle.
