its my 29th day on accutane 20mg will hop on 30 mg on 31st day and currently my lips aint dry but my cheeks are bit dry nothing too extreme ,and i dont have any signs of depression and joint pain , i started experiencing dryness after 2 weeks in my cheeks

On 20mg after 30 days only dry lips, hopped on 40mg after like 5 days developed somewhat dry skin as well

wth are you onto man ,the main reason of acne isnt body removing toxins its just that your sebacious glands under the skin produce more oil and that is genetic factor that how much your glands produce oil and accutane targets the oil glands ,just get off the org instead of spreading misinformation

Dude you obviously haven’t had skin problems, don’t speak on a topic you know nothing about.

Anyways OP I’ve been on accutane and am about halfway through my cumulative dose of 150mg/kg. I can handle 20mg/day but cannot handle 40mg/day. My acne is almost completely gone atp but I’m going to be finishing my cumulative dose because I’m not retarded and there’s no way in hell I’m letting this shit come back.

My sides on 20mg/day have been dry skin and dry lips and mild-moderate rashes on my legs. On 40mg/day I had moderate-severe rashes on my legs which caused me to lower my dose.

Hydrocortisone (medicated) lip balm will eliminate your chapped lips. I use Dr Dan’s hydrocortisone lip balm.

Other than that stick w a simple skincare routine with no actives and remember that accutane is side effect roulette.

It took me like 4 months for it all to go away after starting on 20mgs a day then increasing by 10mg every month.
