my teeth are straight and my palates wide i simply have a deep bite and need my lower jaw forward
I understand that braces aren’t that effective for forward growth they just force ur teeth till they look like an “ideal bite”
but to get good forward growth you need to fix the mandible by forcing it to move forward.
the only thing i’m considering is the herbst appliance as it does make the mandible move forward and doesn’t recess the maxilla.
does anyone have any advice for me on this?
im serious about going to the ortho and trying to fix it soon this will most likely be my last post here if you know stuff about the herbst appliance please share
