At that trial, prosecutors revealed evidence that showed Keonte Ragland had a series of minor disagreements with Eberhardt.

Ragland enlisted his sister Deonna and Rowe to lure Eberhardt to the Catoosa Gardens Apartments, where he was ambushed and killed.

Once he arrived at the apartments, Deonna told him she had changed her mind, and Eberhardt started to return home.

As he did so, Housley shot him in the back and leg near the Oglethorpe Ridge Apartments. Eberhardt cried out "Help me! They shot me!" shortly before collapsing on the doorstep of a Catoosa County law enforcement officer, where he later died.
