Stats:
∙ 17 years old, 6’1, HTN
∙ 179.2 lbs
∙ 16% bf
∙ 143.2 lbs muscle mass
∙ 150.8 lbs fat free mass
∙ BMR 1842 kcal
Been lifting semi consistently past 3 years. Current plan is to cut down to ~169-170 at 10-11% bf over the next 10 weeks (500 cal deficit, 2100 cals, 180-200g protein) then lean bulk back up to 175 at 11% over summer.
I have puffy nipples, but not real gyno
Goal is to hit 175 at 11% bf by end of summer. That means I need to add about 5 lbs of lean mass after the cut.
Cut plan:
∙ 2100 cals, drop to 2000/1900 if stalled
∙ 180-200g protein daily
∙ keep lifting heavy 4-5x/week
∙ cardio
∙ 0.8-1 lb/week loss target
Lean bulk plan after cut:
∙ 2600-2700 cals
∙ 2 lbs/month gain target
∙ mini cut end of august to tighten back up
Is this realistic? Should I just cut harder and faster or is the slow approach better for keeping muscle at my age? Any adjustments you’d make?
