18 too late for HGH?

Fyi 18M my hands and wrists are smaller than my fathers. I am 5'10 and he is 5'11. Also my facial hair is very patchy and on my masseters and under my bottom lip I have virtually no hair. I have very fine arm and chest hair but thick leg hair. Are my growth plates open?

How do I go about this, just go to the doctor and ask? Also what if the doctor lies to me and says they are closed when they are actually open and that makes my body believe that I stopped growing causing me to actually stop growing?

doubt itll cause that but they wont lie and u can see the xray screen im pretty sure so they cant lie
