back in march, seeing someone with 2:1 rep ratio usually meant they were high quality good user. nowadays anyone has a 2:1 ratio and inflation has made 3:1 the new norm.

I guess it sort of exists to be an indicator of whos a good user or not but you can't really stop repfarming from happening since people attach too much to internet points. I guess I'd like to know if it was like this before 2023 when the site was still niche and if people cared about rep like they do now

Tbh i dont actually care about reps, you can still be a good user with good content with no 2x ratio, people are now repping greys which make them post shit content, and I'm not going to deny that i did this, but i stopped doing it for now im just posting for fun and laugh thats it
