2 bedroom is kinda weird. The only reason to have a separate bedroom is if you live in a massive house.

Agreed about studios being bad news though. A separate living room and at least one room to rot in are a must. Rn we have one bedroom and a separate living room/kitchen and my gf still gets on my nerves a bit. I have to just rot on the couch which is uncomfy. Even if our bedroom was big enough for a desk it wouldn't work, not enough privacy.

Im no slouch either in that regard, im trying to cope with gym & stuff, but this stupid vice is still too frequent in my case.
I can agree, that when I lived with a GF (for years), and also in 2 bedroom apartment - when I was 'happy' with her I didn't drink that much, helped that she didn't drink at all from one point.
It's more structured life, for sure. Now when I think about it, it wasn't so bad, but I in the "long run" it can be very damaging when fall apart, but it's always a risk, good luck
