those few years when EDM went mainstream in the Avicii era, and you heard this type of music everywhere, those were the best.

now it's back to trashy club music.

sorry, hated the songs in the op. That era was awful

what do u like now?
I mostly listen to music on my own now.
Back then, music felt more like a social thing. You listened to the same music, vibed with the same tracks, dressed up like them in their music videos, etc. Music was a vibe.

Avicii without you
Axwell ingroso more than you know

They used to play fast electronic music at my college cafeteria to encourage students to eat fast and then leave, to make room for other clients. Some songs I remember being frequently played there are Scooter - Maria, Darude - Sandstorm, Techno Syndrome(the Mortal Kombat theme song) - The Immortals, etc.
Now try to imagine a room full of students eating on the rhythm of this song:

Some places play certain types of music to induce a specific mental state in their customers: calm and relaxing music in malls, supermarkets, etc. to encourage you to stay more there and spend more money, and fast, energizing songs in bars, fast-food restaurants, etc. so people will eat/drink fast and then leave to make room for other customers.
