I feel the opposite tbh. Tho I am grateful I have lived my "kid" years (pre puberty) before the social media era. But the access to BP/looksmaxing knowledge y'all have now would've been so useful for me 10 years ago.

Yes it did. I vaguely remember stumbling across sites like PUA hate a decade ago. But at the time it was very niche and the looksmaxxing aspect in particular wasn't nearly as mainstream as it is now.
