Hey, just thought it'd be good to start a thread for people's 23and me results. Feel free to post your own.

Here are some of mine. I'm predominantly of British Isles ancestry with just enough Amerindian in me to look Ethnik.

My original results showed Scandinavian, French, etc. but then the Euro ancestry got reclassified to all British.

I suspect I do have ancestors from these regions given all the times Britain was invaded, but that's probably all 800+ years ago or some shit.

I'm guessing you either live in Africa or your parents are immigrants from Africa. African American descendants of slaves always have White and/or Amerindian admixture.

Part Native Canadian through my mother. Mitonchondrial DNA is Native American haplogroup A2i.

Yeah I’m half mexican. I don’t look ethnic at all really. Only some people notice but once I tell people they say that they thought I didn’t look completely white.

btw your maternal haplogroup is native american and your paternal one is west germanic

I should probably get around to doing this. And yeah, those are where my haplogroups are from. I wonder if the Y-DNA came in through the Viking invasions given Haplogroup I1 peaks in Sweden IIRC and my paternal line traces to eastern Scotland.

It's a bit swarthy for someone who got 100% british/irish on those tests but the GEDmatch ancient ancestry results make it make sense, mirin that Melanesian ancestry I have some too it's pretty rare.

In pm I have been told I look Welsh

When I don't mention my ancestry several have assumed I am a slav

The melanesian is likely noise or some sort of archaic ancestry.

Top is Illustrative dna which is modern, as for MDLP world idk in this article it is described as being inaccurate and inferior to world-22.
