I've been off accutane for 3 months and hair is still shedding at an obscene rate. I can't take this anymore...
Look at the bald spot

If I shed for another 3 months I will have to shave my head, it would look to thin. I have no pity if you go on accutane after reading my posts.

It permanently dries out my skin, so I can't even tan anymore, I just get sunburnt
you feel like you prematurely aged aswell ?

My skin feels more wrinkled for sure. The only thing I care about is my hair, and it won't stop shedding

you keep taking accutane ?

I dont want to polarize, but the PUFA in your body may be the problem

" When a protein has a region with a high affinity for lipids that contain double bonds, polyunsaturated fatty acids will displace saturated fats, and they can sometimes displace hormones containing multiple double bonds, such as thyroxine and estrogen, from the proteins that have a high specificity for those hormones. Transthyretin (also called prealbumin) is important as a carrier of the thyroid hormone and vitamin A. The unsaturation of vitamin A and of thyroxin allow them to bind firmly with transthyretin and certain other proteins, but the unsaturated fatty acids are able to displace them, with an efficiency that increases with the number of double bonds, from linoleic (with two double bonds) through DHA (with six double bonds). "http://raypeat.com/articles/articles/fats-functions-malfunctions.shtml

I have also heard an anecdote that some dont get sunburns anymore after few years of avoiding PUFA.
There might be a mechanism aswell in your skin, where PUFAs displace retin A from their receptors, thus they are free in the blood and oxidize quickly? I am not sure about that, but these might be some points where you could research on

I did not know accutane would cause my hair to shed this much. And I've done alot of research, most of times it is permanent especially for males

a bit, not too much
would rather fix my own norwooding before spouting big words
could you possibly improve norwooding or even reverse some of it through improved diet?
also have you seen the guide for hairloss on the misc?it sounds very promising tbh

There are tons of guides everywhere. Too much talking too less solutions (and results)

I think you are able to halt it, but as for regrowth, you need to help artificially like needling, massages ect or drugs

no this one
it talks about removing inflammation from the body

Its similar to elephantos protocol on rp.
I have been on it and it’s shit.
Also, pumping minerals like zinc in ypu fucks your copper. Shit like that. Would not recommend tbh but what do i know

Idk the whole methylation shit sounds more promising than „inflammation „. You can just pop aspirin to remove that (and that seems to work for some on rp to stop hairloss)

The guy in the misc forum stated "excess estrogen" as a reason for inflammation. This is just wrong, estrogen has a bunch of anti inflammatory properties to it. It's why females do not get auto immune issues as much as men do.
