3 months of tret and my skin is still shit.

this vid I was prescribed tretinoin, and for 2-3 months all that happened was my skin burned off and turned to shit with the insane amount of peeling wanted to rope

it has now been a year, and all I've been doing is good diet + cleanser and moisturizer daily
all that's left now is acne scars but I get no acne at all anymore, and if I do get pimples they leave in 3-4 days with no trace
my best advice is to find what works for you and your skin type, cause what works for others might not always work for you

So you stopped using tret? My acne looks a bit different from yours and it was less before i started and increased to your level after the fact. But thanks bhai

yes I stopped using tret, for my brother his acne left in 1 month from tretinoin but mine left in 1.5 months and my skin COMPLETELY healed from the side effects from tretinoin as well.
All I use is Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser + La Roche Posay triple repair moisturizer
AVOID cerave products

Yeah i use cerave only, Saved me from extremly dry skin. I think ill try fixing my diet and bakuchiol first and if bakuchiol doesnt work ill try only cleanser and moisturize

The tret that i have is actually a gel thats tret and clindamycin mixed called acnatac. Ill try cutting out dairy, Thought that was just cope.

For me it was mostly whey protein

After cutting that out and pairing it with clindamycin I dont have a single pimple, just PIE from tretinoin

Pretty healthy, But could be healthier. I know a shit ton of people who eat way worse and have great skin. Ill try and stick to whole foods.
