3 months off minoxidil

thought it might be useful to others so here is my experience stopping minoxidil

Context:
So i have naturally sparse and thin eyebrows which is what made me start to use topical minoxidil on my eyebrows. I used 5% topical minoxidil on my eyebrows for 5-6 months before I had to stop because I kept getting seborrheic dermatitis. The only side effect was itchiness. However, about 3 months ago my dermatologist prescribed me some medication to cure my skin. After getting these products, I started to get seborrheic dermatitis on my eyebrows. I am unsure whether or not this is because of the skin care products because I also have eczema and it gets bad in the winter.

After Stopping:
It's been about 2-3 months after stopping topical minoxidil. To keep it short, I did see a bit of shedding. My skin is better on my eyebrows now but I don't want to start minoxidil again until spring or whenver I stop using these skin care products. Luckily not all of my hair grown from minoxidil was lost. I'd say that I still have most of my hairs grown from minoxidil and I guess only time will tell whether or not these hairs will shed.

anyways thanks for reading
