@isegrim314 gave me thr idea for this. Imo you can splurge a little on watches because watches especially the ones from reputed Swiss brands don't lose much of their value, unlike other wasteful spendings which are money pits.
Watch can be considered jewellery and can go on to become heirloom pieces so the watches I'll be recommending will be slightly on the pricier side but they have great build quality and will serve you well for years
1. Steel Watch - Everyday / Smart Casual
Stainless steel is tough, corrosion-resistant and generally low-maintenance. It's the most versatile bracelet and can be worn un daily wear and business-casual settings. Steel watches often have a sporty look making them perfect for jeans and polos or shirts and slacks.
My recommendation-
Timex Marlin Chronograph- Retro inspired look. Looks very similar to a much more expensive luxury Tag Heuer Carrera chronograph
$200(New). Can be bought for $120 on ebay
2. Leather Strap Watch - Formal / Sophisticated Look
Leather gives off a refined, classic vibe perfect for dressy situations. It is also more comfortable than steel watched and molds to your wrist over time becoming more comfortable. Also generally a minimalist design
Orient Bambino- Classic and minimalist deisgn. This watch is alsl automatic and serves as a good entry point into automatic watches
$130 - $199 depending on version.
3. Beater Watch - Rugged / Outdoor
This is the watch you can wear without worry. Beaters are built for rough use gym, hiking, travel, yard work, or lazy weekends. You want something lightweight shock-resistant waterproof, and ideally digital for utility. Casio watches are ideal beaters..
Casio G-Shock DW-5600- . Legendary digital watch known for its tank durability and military-grade toughness.Iconic 80's design with 200 m water resistance, it's famously been run over by a truck and kept ticking
$70(New) $40-50(slightly used)
