Had bloost testing for blood cell status, surface level androgen test and thyroid test, the results were subhuman tier (i wasn't suprised about testosterone levels one bit, hoped i was hypogonadal to get prescription TRT)
White blood cell count was 12.0 (normal 0.0-10.00)
Total testosterone 440 ng/dl (normal 80-850 jfllll whats next 10 is normal?)
Androstendione 2.6 (normal 0.5-3.0)
Thyroid:
TSH 5.5 (normal 0.1-4.5)
Free T4 1.5 (normal 0.9-1.8)
Free T3 4.6 (normal 2.3-4.3)
This is the weirdest one, very rare thyroid results in medical literature, the combo of high TSH which is almost always present in hypothyroidism BUT with HYPERthyroid tier free T3 levels and ideal free T4 levels. This is caused by just two things, thyroid hormone resistance or pituitary benign tumor.
Im going to go to a private endocrinologist next month and do a full hormonal test this time (free T, estrogen, cortisol, progesterone, dhea-s, shbg, lh, fsh, vit D, folate, vit B12). And see whats going on exactly.
My bad blood results could be the cause of:
-subhuman vit D (haven't seen the sun in months unironically go outside only when its night)
-subhuman folate and b12
-i slept 4.5 hours when i took that test
-i took diazepam and ritalin the night before
-and my WBC was 12.0 which could indicate inflammation in my body which is known to cuck testosterone and thyroid. Btw i got a flu that afternoon on the same day i did the blood test, so maybe it fucked with my results or something
-the medication i take for IBD, azathioprine has been shown to damage the leydig cells in the testis which produce sperm and testosterone
@Nad Idk what other ray peat boyos to tag here, most of them are gone brutal
