The star of David or just a star w/ a pentagram shows up in the goetia or the lesser keys of solomon so why not use a demon from there? Occultists use those books. It isn't. The star of David has history with occultism but when somebody displays the baphomet it's just attention seeking because they know Christians will get riled up.
