you have to be at least a certain height to benefit from having a wide frame. i'd say a dude that's in the 5ft 8 - 5ft 9 can benefit from having a wide frame (stallone for example), but 5ft 7 and below it doesn't matter

If you somehow disagree with such a common sense answer, let's mathematically evaluate this:
5'7" = 15th percentile
Let's say this above average frame is 80th percentile, top 20% of men. Inb4 OP says his frame is top 5% or better
(15+80)/2 = 47.5th percentile among height and frame total of the average male in the US
5'11" = 63rd percentile
Average frame = 50th percentile
(63+50)/2 = 56.5th percentile among height and frame total of the average male in the US

Even if you disagree with the height percentiles, 5'11" and 5'7" would still have an equivalent percentile difference so that is meaningless (hopefully that doesn't have to be elaborated on for giga low iqcels) and I set 5'10" as the average for both. Average 20-year-old male in the US is actually nearly 5'10" according to updated growth charts and average visible male (attractive to women) are probably even taller
