what's your weight and body fat? what's your goal? what do you think is the ideal weight for a 5'5 man? currently I'm 135 lbs ~14% body fat. I think the best option for manlets is gaining some muscle so when you cut to low body fat you aren't skinny, but without being too muscular. too much muscle on manlets = looks bad, people will think it's compensating, and won't make you more attractive since girls who like muscular guys (not very common among young women) also like tall guys even more than women in general. so I think it's better to stay natural and get to 160-165lbs ~11% body fat. thoughts?

my deepest condolences if your 5'5 bro

my mother is 166cm but my dad is 197cm, I'm 185 cm (6'1)
regression to the mean. I think 185cm is a better height than 197cm btw

if I ever get rich I'll probably do LL. but that won't be possible in the short term. also there's no way you can add 4 inches with shoe lifts, max 1.5

3 inch lifts + shoes, so 4 inches total footwear? and it's not noticeable? are you sure the 3 inch lifts actually add 3 inches? lifts add less heigth than advertised

No I mean as in the shoes that have lifts built in,
so they look natural. Like the picture below, I have those shoes and they add 3 inches to my height. Not the best looking trendy shoe but they add good height so the trade off is worth it. In my experience you can add 3 inch lifts to shoes like Air Jordan 1s which work well

Look, let's be real, you're not gonna be a chad, so i would recommend you just to improve your looks a little bit, be a smart guy, invest your time on getting a good career, have some friends. Try to get a pretty girlfriend and that's it. Only a few guys are able to be chads, if you're <5'11 to be a chad you need a extremely good looking face. So this is my advice, i think is more normal than telling you to break your legs and risk getting disabled.

100% agreed. that's what I plan to do. considering my height, with softmaxxing most I can achieve is weak HTN and even that is pretty optimistic

Do not go above 150 lbs otherwise you will just look ultra manlet. Just look at Jeff Nippard, Matt Ogus, etc.

What you need the most is mental stability, this forum is a little bit tough for the mental health cause many people is joking, making fun of short people, ethnics, if you aren't perfect you feel bad here, try to be realistic and don't fall for jaw surgeries and things like this

nah I definitely wouldn't look bad at 150lbs. I think as long as I stay natural I'll look good

How tall is your mom and grandparents OP?
dad - 5'11
mum - 5'1.5
paternal grandfather - I have no idea, but I think he was tall, or at least not below average
paternal grandmother - 5'1-5'2
maternal grandfather - ~5'7
maternal grandmother - 5'2-5'3

Awfully similar family tree heights bro... I always thought I could cope with my muh 6'0 dad. But then I realized I have a 5'2 mom and grandma and like 5'6 grandfather. :feelswhy:. My subhuman manlet genes have been passed down for ages

yes and it's not THAT rare. in my country 5'5 is 5 percentile for zoomer males. in fact a guy who made fun of me in hs bc of my height is 5'3 now JFL. I also saw a 5'3 man with a HTB some weeks ago on the supermarket.

it's rare enough that when I see a guy my height or shorter than me I notice it (also because I'm obsessed with height), but it's not like very very rare

I hope I just had bad genetic recombination and the tall genes from my dad's side still run through me so there's less of a chance my son will be short

4 inch lifts lmao just wear heels at this point its the same thing
3 inch is fine and look normal heaps of guys do it on here

I’m around 118lbs rn

height is not just about vertical measurement bro, if u add 6 inches just on the legs u will look so comically small, u dont have the ribcage size, arm length and thickness of a natural average height

Literally never get LL whatever you do. Nuke your athleticism just to be a bit taller when you can 10x make up a few inches by not being autistic and social circle maxing

It’s all cope unless you get taller

I used to know a Chad Manlet at my work, had legit 7 PSL face, good style, super NT and ripped. Only thing was he was like 5’2”.

He had a hot gf and everyone in the office loved him. Don’t get LL, focus on face.

Doesn't matter, it's either LL and potentially having messed up proportions or staying a manlet forever

There's a guy in my school who is 6'2 and has small ass hands, legs are like most of his frame and his head is small af and ofc he's recessed.

the point is that if you're 5'5 it's better to LL to 5'7 and wear lifts to reach 5'8 than LL to 5'10 and messing up your proportions

maybe tiny width but not length. i guarntee he still has lanklet arm length and proper ribcage length at very least to match. also common lanklet neck. maybe he looks weird but i guarantee if u LL plus lifts from 5'5 to 6'0 u will look even more ridiculous
remember that lanklet can theoretically just take steroids and fill out most of his frame. maybe not perfect but it will still look natural

Sure you will certainly look weird if you LL 5 inches but I think it's still a better option that having to just get 2 inches and rely on lifts.
