I feel like it doesn’t get talked about enough how ultra satire everything feels now. If I see a corny video, turns out they’re mimicking someone who did said corny act. If I see a weird post of someone saying something crazy, turns out some random guy said it 10 years ago. It feels like everyone is afraid of being themselves and they choose to hide under extreme layers of irony to seem like they don’t really care or are “nonchalant” about it. I can’t describe with words how much I hate what “modern humor” is/came to be. Everything is making fun of something old or past relevant and I wish originality was still present.

I really wish people were just themselves and made their own jokes. Irony and satire killed social media humor, I hate it.
