This being my first post doesn't make mean I have no experience on this forum btw.

Why do people care about reps and posts on this forum? I had a quick look and basically every other post is just saying "post number x." So what? I even saw someone saying "59 post," and I didn't sense sarcasm. All the responses were completely positive, maybe its just autism but I struggle to see the "why it matters" aspect.

You can get 10k post in a day just saying shit, and who are the reps from? 14 year olds with no coherent thought/ideology.

I would get it if its YouTube or something beneficial (making moeney gaining status). But to me it seems like celebrating a use of time that for whatever your "great goal" of life could've been spent in a more optimal way.

And im not saying there's 0 useful info on here, but if your looking for something go find it.

Ladar is fun and all but 10k post to me atleast on the subjective level seems excessive. Last bit; it's your life spend it however.

Ngl you're not wrong but, rep and post count aren't like a quality indicator they’re just a way people measure status on the forum. More posts = more status, and over time people start recognizing your name. Once that happens, even average takes get more attention.

It’s basically the same thing as followers on any other platform. Most of it doesn’t mean much, but people still treat it like it does.

The “59 posts” shit is just people playing into the system it's just engagement and not like an actual achievement

If you’re just there to get useful info, then yeah, it doesn’t matter. But for people treating it like a social ladder, that’s the whole point. (99% of this forum focuses on it so, take that how you will.)
