If you had asked incels here about what the kids want you would all say "steroids and HGH" so what's the matter?

Of the 500-plus children surveyed (ages 10 to 17), most are planning to ask for video game-related gifts for the holidays.
Subscriptions were the most popular gift idea at 39%, followed closely by consoles (38%), games accessories (32%), and in-game currency (29%). Surprisingly, only 22% of the children surveyed wanted physical games this Christmas.

Game-related products came out on top, beating other gift ideas such as money and gift cards (70%) or technology like smartphones and smartwatches (62%).
Books were the lowest on the gift list at 26%.

"More than 212 million Americans play video games regularly, so it comes as no surprise that games are at the top of this year's wish lists," said Stanley Pierre-Louis, ESA president and CEO.
"Whether a family is getting a new console, updating their controllers and headsets or adding to their library with new games and expansion packs, we know video games are a great tool for families to play together and connect during the holiday season and beyond."

kids should be doing actual physical activities, or at the very least any other recreational activity. video games provide zero pros to developing adolescents

I started playing video games in the 1990s and quickly realized even back then, that these are the future and kids won't be playing with toys anymore, when they can do all the playing and games in virtual worlds - why would they play with toy cars for example, when they can drive supercars in racing games, or why should they chase and shoot each other with toy guns, when they can play 3D shooters with realistic guns, basically every real life game had even then a video game equivalent that was much more exciting...

That’s a fair sentiment honestly. But damn, imagination is a thing of the past now. As well as sports.

I got a PS5 for early Christmas gift, I don’t really play games as much tho since I have the gym/boxing and uni work

My younger cousins on the other hand are all iPad kids, their brains are all turned to fucking sludge, they can’t properly function for a few minutes without using the damn thing

im tired of normies so video games are better
i wish gta6 was available for Christmas, provided its not woke 😭:feelsgah:

hasnt this been the case for years. I was chronically online and I played mobile games but I never asked for a console nor did I really buy any Pc games.

And afaik I’m legit the only dude other than a few who didn’t or currently play vidya in a true sense. Like genuinely this is like what 99% of boys do bruh.

U guys all probably were addicted to vidya as a kid. Everybody 13-22 were playing fortnite 24/7 except me I never once played fortnite.

If it was the 2000s I would’ve probably been a giga gamer addict though

I dunno. I don't think it will ever completely go away. Tweens and teens will probably turn to video games.

This is the insidious and hidden harm of all time being spent playing video games.

Truth be told once I got to high school I wasn’t as addicted. Grade school I played a TON though.

That's fucking normal lol was the exact same when I was a kid
