the police and basically every kind of goverment org police-military etc have trained hostage rescue units sas-sbs , seal team 6 , delta force for example. They'll just kill you.

how are you communicating to the police about these hostages, how are you verifying their identities? throughout the entire process there's about a million ways they can determine where you are, and many of these methods you wouldn't have a clue about. you will easily be tricked into exposing yourself
