I've heard 6 foot called manlet. Honestly the truth is everybody lies about their height so its hard for me to tell what actual 6' vs 6'2 is

I wear hightops with a 1" heal and then a 1" insole lift, honestly if you start just adding more than 1" through lifts it WILL be noticeable, some people might figure it out but to others your proportions are just going to look 'off'

Maybe to shorter ones but the majority will notice. 2 inches is very noticable irl, plus the way the height distributation is (atleast in america) only 80%+ are 6'0, and 50% are 5'9 to 5'10.
