I 100% agree that your life was already decided in middle school. Truth be told the more things change the more they stay the same. That is unless your a fraudulent good looking person like Chico who evaporated the minute he started showing signs of aging. Things never really changed for me, even as I improved my appearance. Truth be told if your an incel at 16, don't bother fixing it, things only get worse as you age.
