I visited my friend who goes to St. Andrews University for 2 days.

Now, academically, this university is really nothing special. The only special thing about it is that St. Andrews, the town itself, is super fucking rich and posh. And therefore, only rich people can afford to send their kids here, because the cost of living is through the roof.
For reference, this town has legitimately no fast food places, because the council rejects them all. The only non high end restaurant there is a subway, which only exists for the University students/

My friend is actually not that rich, and only managed to go because University is free in Scotland for Scottish citizens. + He took out a cost of living loan from SAAS [Student Awards Agency Scotland]. He went so he could make friends with rich kids, which he has succeeded and is which I was actually able to socialize with them when I visited.

These people come from families so rich you wouldn't believe. Kids of aristocrats, one kid's family was deeply connected with the Trump family [If you don't know, Donald Trump loves Scotland, and has Scottish roots, he even has this huge golf course here]
Others are kids of well known judges in the country, others are kids of MPs.
One of the kid's fathers was the owner of this huge distillery that was next to my house growing up.

These kids legitimately never have to worry about a thing in their life. Health, security, failing, not making friends. And ofcourse, cortisol free life means they were HMTN on average, where the college I dropped out from had HLTN-LMTN average.

And, one thing I've noticed is, these kids are politically left in a very apathetic way.
A huge joke they kept making was making fun of Reform UK [a popular anti migrant party here] where the over arching punchlines was that the people who support it were unsuccesful commoners [they didn't actually use that word jfl] who couldn't look at the bigger picture.
It was very stereotypically rich and snobbich, I was lowkey mirin hard at the whole aesthetic and lifestyle of it.

Talking to them over the 2 days it became clear they legitimately had no sense of White/Brit/Scottish identity. The only identity they had was the idea of success and financial power. They connected more on the fact their parents were strongly connected more than whatever football team they supported back home, or the neighbourhoods they grew up in. There was even some oil Arab prince [though I doubt he was actually a prince] kid who was there who almost fit in perfectly. In my old secondary school, poor nigga would've been asked "If a war between the UK and [whatever arab gulf rich dystopia he comes from] went to war, who would you fight for?" over and over.

It's kind of funny that there are people slaving themselves to death for their kids, thinking about the betterment of their country, whilst the people at the top laugh at the idea of it all. And ofcourse, these kids will grow up to [metaphorically] rule Scotland.

Also, surprisingly, less jews than I expected, though they were there.
And, according to my friends theres actually secret societies in the University. And also secret lectures where rich parents pay lecturers to lecture their kids more deeply on the subject so they can get a better grade than the other kids. [which isn't allowed.]

Can confirm it is the same/similar for Melbourne.
I can count on one hand the amount of dudes I've seen at university in my 2 years that've made me think "he is GL" consciously.
Any uni that is focused on academic success, especially if it doesn't have that significant of an involvement in sports, is LMTN on average (at best).

Oh I know those type of kids very very well. I remember these types in secondary school, the types you would see being favoured by every teacher or even get favour regarding tests and nationals. They would always be doing perfectally and they would always be apart of something bigger without a care in the world. They would also treat you worse or inferior. I always distanced myself away from higher class people. I stuck to people my class which is middle class, unless if I am back in Hungary or Croatia then I am high middle but I have always loathed these form of people.

People always say that comfort breeds weaklings but it does not. It creates people like them. Here take my example. Those people are like chimps who have so many bananas that they start tossing those bananas out to rot to show off more power over others. Yet with the westerners, they instead throw away nationality, meaning, purpose for the sake of superiority, control and ill will profit.

In general I hate them. They have no respect for the basics of existence, have no empathy or remorse. They remind me of Indians, if you ever read about their izzat system. You would see how similar they are. I hope the heavens these ilk can end up in Glasgow or some horrid part in Tory, or in Dundalk.

They literally had to get out whilst the car was still moving [obviously at like 5-15 mph] since taxi drivers stopping would commonly result in it being stopped by car jacking thugs, both the customer and taxi driver would be mugged, and the car would most likely be robbed aswell.
