USA isn't bound by treaties, and neither do I think USA will launch an invasion on a mountainous Arctic land, this is clearly about distraction or it may actually be real and an attempt to bring all of North America under USA.

Denmark is already a close ally with the US and US already has bases in greenland with danish approval, NATO is in no danger, there was conflict all the time and NATO never collapsed. Also, there was no agreement on never attacking greenland in the future.

So there's no threat here, unless you live in greenland ofc
