It was a figure of speech. I meant ypur life will spiral downwards.

Most people dont have genetic depression, its caused by something in their lives to cause it. A small minority of the population have a chemical imbalence that cause it.

Some people are more prone to it, but its activated my negative reactions by their environment.

That doesnt refute my point. I can say a person making responsible decisions or the correct choices were pretedermined and caused by randomness. I can say your choice working hard in life was preterdimed even if you dont have any past actions to reflect that. Because in the end you dont know what actions were predetermined.

And its not as if sitting around will make your life better.
