Have you noticed that there's a very high status for those who are "at the service" of others, willing to help, as if they were landmarks in the city, rather than simply having high status because of their profession (for example, a self-centered lawyer, etc.)?
Take a simple volunteer for an association who knows many people, is a good person, and everyone knows they can count on him. He also displays high-status behavior and is a healthy person.
Unlike the lawyer, mean, sneaky, with connections, this is a different kind of status.
I have a friend who's a personal trainer and knows practically everyone in the city; he's an incredible person.
That's what I'm talking about.
