similarly to what its poster said ... as i got old enough, i started noticing a pretty drastic difference in how women of identical looks range are treating me way too often
it kept bugging me for a while why would some x/10 women act like they badly want me, while some would treat me nicely and flirt moderately, but still in a much more reserved way ... then i started checking for wedding rings and it became perfectly clear to me. there is a very high positive correlation between those without it signalling me im hot
obviously the ring itself is not a completely limiting factor (though, when you deal with serious, non ghetto women in a non-third world country, it can often make or break it, because most women cant bother with the hassle cheating on your husband comes with, including legal consequences, specially when they have kids), plus people can be in very serious ltrs but just not married, but that's the only pattern i could notice
