A good source of motivation

Like many on here, I've always lacked motivation, drive, energy etc in most things in life.
Most of the self development, motivational shit doesn't work on me on the long term.
But one thing that gives me more drive than anything is proving others they are wrong and I'm better than them.

It may seem like an unhealthy behavior, and I've tried to fight it but honestly even the slightest disagreement on any subject can give you motivation to improve every aspect of your life just to prove you are a better person.

I just need to find a way to get confrontational with people that aren't in my close social circle so I'm not seen as a douche.
Any ideas ?

I am not interested in proving to someone that I am better. I just don't like being worse than others. Here's my motivation.
 
I don't need motivation or willpower or some mindset shit if i want to fix something i make it a habit;

•I wanted to fix my posture so i created exercise habits.

•I wanted to meditate more so i created meditation habit.

•I wanted to lose fat so i created ıntermittent fasting, water and walking habits.

Even ıf i feel bad i still do those things.

Honestly dude drugs mog every other mentality cope. But mentality is important because you can’t always be on some drug obviously.

Be high AVERAGE testosterone. (I’ve used steroids, don’t do it)

Any dopaminergic (dopamine inducing drug) will work the only issue is downregulation of the dopamine receptors (getting used to the feeling of dopamine and not feeling the same “rush”).
Dopamine makes you feel motivated FYI.

Modafinil, stimulants, amphetamines of any sort would work. Caffiene is the easiest one you could get at any store.

Healthy habits is probably the most healthy way to get motivation. Drugs and fucking with your dopamine as I said will eventually downregulate your receptors.

Or you could go just full David Goggins mode and say fuck everyone and everything and just force yourself to do it. Up to you bro.
Yeah I don't fuck with dopaminergic substances. I already feel like shit when I quit alcohol after drinking regularly. Caffeine is good but don't wanna use it too often. Tbh feeling at war with someone or something gives me much more drive than any other trick.

I do have a set of habits but it's different from having true drive and pushing your limits.
I can go workout even if I don't feel like it tbh.

Too much motivation leads to a shitty life. I've made this mistake plenty in my life.

When you cut out all the artificial crap, the human mind is pretty good at providing the right amount of motivation in the correct doses.

Too much motivation and your mind will not have the time to fully process information, learn lessons, and take better actions. So you spend years working in the wrong business direction, loosing tons of money, or loosing massive opportunity for bigger gains.

You could waste years and countless in the gym, without figuring out the the right amount, frequency, and load of weights your body best responds too.

When you feel depressed and don't want to do anything, then DON'T DO ANYTHING. Your mind needs time to process information, to come up with a BETTER plan than what you were going to do, that could save you YEARS or even DECADES.

Obviously cut out all artificial crap like processed foods, video games, tv, movies, drugs, caffeine, etc. because that's all designed to hijack your motivational system, and destroy your life quality.
