Let me just preface this by saying that I don’t hate theists or anyone who has faith.
Some of the best and most kind people I have ever met were religious believers, I actually genuinely admire them

But I have spent my life growing up around “very religious” people and let me just say that a lot of them are massive hypocrites, utterly shameless and have zero self awareness

It’s almost incredible just watching the cognitive dissonance that they display for everyone to see

They will read an entire book yet pick and choose what to believe
They will pray loudly in public, but will backbite and slander in private
They will say kind words, not because they mean them but because they want to collect enough “good boy points” to get to heaven

No one is perfect, and that’s okay, but please stop constantly parading around about how much of a good believer you are. It just makes you look incredibly fake

Their is almost nothing authentic or real about them. You must stay away from such hypocrites. Be wary of them

We are not good, we cannot claim to be, we have to make the greatest effort to be good and even if we are, we have to be humble and selfless about it. That’s what atleast Christianity believes in. Each believer has to understand they are a sinner in need of God’s mercy. No goodie goodies

Well somehow yes but i find my pleasure in life on little things like sports, reading books and finding my own happiness. Also socializing helps a lot because human people is sociable by nature and we have to live in society so we dont end up with our lives

They do it for the social aspect and validation that comes from claiming you're religious, but there's no one that's gonna check on them if they don't abide by their scriptures
