Its not always wealth. Families that are well off in the first place are just more stable also kids from wealthy parents have higher IQ since their parents had high IQs.

Most poor families are either poor for IQ/genetic reasons or they are on some substance (alcoholic dad intergenerational trauma ect...). So its a chicken or egg situation. But my point is most families below the poverty line either have bad genes or they have drug issues its very rare that a person who has nothing trauma or genetically wrong with them just ends up poor usually they have either had a fucked life or are fucked in some major way.

In the past there were plenty of normal poor families. Most people were farmers and only had the bare essentials after hard work food shelter and clothing. But they still had healthy families nowadays I would say most families in shit situations have many things wrong with them. Poverty in itself is a sign of dysfunction because its usually not completely circumstancital like the past. If you look at most low income families the father is missing they had bad genes they are on drugs even if they won the lottery there would still be a ton of problems. You just don't see stable families that are dirt poor anymore. There are a lot of middle class and rich stable families but dirt poor families 99% of the time there is something major wrong

If you have the IQ to get a high paying career you can become a millionaire+ over 20 odd years or so.
You could get lucky, but mostly it'll take a decade or two/three.

This is just obviously incorrect. And it's actually the opposite. Wealthier families are more likely to instil the traits necessary to become successful.

Go to any top 10 university in UK or USA for example. The vast majority will come from wealthy families
