I've been thinking.

If everyone on earth apart from kids were to be measured in their attractiveness and put on a continuous distribution, what would it look like?

Well... intuitively, it would most likely be a normal distribution, right? Well, that doesn't make much sense. Because what's the "average" here? If we look at our attractiveness rankings, we have

SUBHUMAN

LTN

MTN

HTN

CL

CHAD

Now, you may choose to have the label "PSL GOD" or "TRUE ADAM" but there's so little of them that undeniably deserve that ranking that whenever one would even rate another individual as a PSL GOD, it's often very contentious. TBH, they may as well not exist because the chances of them ever affecting your life is probably zero.

I would say even CL pretty rare, leaving your "competition" basically capped at HTN to some degree.

If I had to guess, this is what I think the world realistically looks like, with HTN being much rarer than LTN.

So try not to get to caught up. You're most likely enough. Unless you're not. Sorry

If there were two lines and it was indirect vs direct
And them added together would equal 100% of what a woman thinks of

I’m defining indirect as something you aren’t directly seeing/hearing. They aren’t in your vicinity

And these two lines started from 1900 to 2025. Then for the main bulk until 2000s, the indirect effect would have remained somewhat stable, from the equivalent rarity of seeing a good looking person in the early 1900s to late (idea of good looking being relative, from rarity)
And the rarity of seeing that person only marginally increasing as people would interact with more humans towards end of 20th Century than before

the low indirect effect it would have on a woman’s requirement being from hearing about Chad from friends or seeing Marlon Brando in a film on a vintage TV

But with social media and dating apps/ access to the internet after 2000 it’s becoming more of an influence

The average girl has probably seen more Chads online than in a 1000 lifetimes of women back in the day
