Problem:
Science has established the MAIN FACTOR causing premature Graying. It is the blunting of the melanin-producing enzyme tyrosinase by the substance known as hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in our hair follicles.

Hydrogen peroxide is a bleaching agent and it builds up as we age, decreasing melanin production in the hair. In some people this process starts very early and causes premature graying.

In short : Hydrogen peroxide inhibits the synthesis of melanin.

(This theory was proven in 2009 by Researchers of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in Germany und the University of Bradford in Great Britain.)

Possible Solutions:
So how do we tackle this issue? There is a bunch of different things we can do. None of them are guaranteed to stop or reverse graying hair, but are the best we have at the moment.

L-Methionine supplementation: The amino acid Methionine is directly involved in protecting tyrosinase from being blunted by H202

Copper supplementation: Copper is a crucial part of the enzyme tyrosinase

Folic acid (Vitamin B9), Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12 Supplementation: Important for the formation of Methionine and the prevention of homocystinuria

I mean I could just eat tons of red meat and liver to prevent this. Instead of spending money on supplementa I’ll just buy more meat
