Yes they want to give decent result but thats because of the backlash from shit results. When you sit and talk about your problems they see potential problems after surgery from your stupid ass. And all of them just want to do their own surgery, they would never say a plan thats better but something they dont do. Its like a ortho wont give you advice about jaw surgery accept its brutal and they cant fix it themselves even if you are a clear case for jaw surgery. And all the mse shit is from orthos who want you in their office paying for treatment for 2 years. But still people take advice from some private clinic surgeon. Holy cow, their lively bread is dependent on your stupid ass.

People assume i shame some specific surgeon but i mean its a general thing. If a surgeon owns a private clinic he livelihood depends on patients doing surgeries with him. He will ofc try to sell tou something. Some people go to a private jaw surgery clinic and ask if they are recessed for example. Sure its valid but its like going to a car seller and ask if i need to uppgrade my car. Sure he knows shit about cars so he should talk you s good answer but obv he will try to sell you the car. Its just to be logical. And also he will not recommend another car service

if he helps me as soon as possible, is that actually beneficial for him, or would he lose money compared to dragging it out for years just feeding me some bs
also your point is easily provable by going on the realself and reading some questions, 99% of the cases is surgeons recommending something not beneficial, but something what they can sell
