Definition of terms:
A Schizophrenic: An individual whose perception of reality is divergent from the common populace.
A Skeptic: An individual who holds nothing to be true.
A Nihilist: An individual who holds nothing to be good.
Un-reality device: An instrument that locks the users perception into a non-reality space.
The schizophrenia of modernity and its causes.
Conditions in Western countries over the last decade have set the stage for a mass divergence of several distinct but connected groups. Conditions include, but are not limited to: Increased use of un-reality devices, the lockdowns, increased propaganda measures, increased hypergamy, and inflation or the decrease of wealth.
This has led to various subgroups in the population who have been most affected by these conditions. Trannies, as a mainstream example, are able to exist under constant self-destructive delusions only with the aid of un-reality device discord groups, and propaganda measures.
The paradox of schizophrenics
The schizophrenic who is a skeptic and holds nothing to be true is paradoxically closer to the truth. Propaganda measures flow over him. The esoteric becomes palatable, too palatable. He falls too swiftly, and, with nothing to latch onto he destroys himself and his mentals, but can guide others to treasures. Knowing nothing and everything, Socrates is an example of such a fellow.
There are two sub-examples of a skeptic schizophrenic. The first is one who joins some group or institution and finds a concrete grip, in doing so he loses his schizophrenia.
The second sub-example becomes a nihilist, believing nothing to be good, and so ends his search for truth as he believes it is irrelevant. You will find these types in the political arena, the sophist commentators who sell their souls.
The moderate schizophrenic
There is a temptation to take the ride to its conclusion, and see where true skepticism will take you, perhaps the occult looms ahead, or material wealth, or esoteric truths to cling to one's breast. The moderate schizophrenic is one who gets off the ride, who neither wears the mask of normalcy as the sophist does, nor plunges into the depths.
You will find the moderate schizophrenics working manual labor jobs, the working man who has responsibilities. They probably won't vaccinate their kids. The moderate schizophrenic will find, to his surprise, the rest of the world slowly surpass him in terms of schizophrenia, as the populace shifts he will once again find himself non-divergent from the cattle.
The true schizophrenic
The clinical definition of schizophrenia is tighter than my proposed one, hallucinating voices is a symptom of true schizophrenia. The Bicameral Mind by Julian Jaynes suggests this has historically been due to a disconnect between the sides of the brains. Causing your consciousness to be fed information seemingly external in nature.
The modern schizophrenic has this effect mimicked by un-reality devices. Your consciousness is fed information external in nature, affixed to ghostly anonymous apparitions. It should come as no surprise then that this low-wave schizophrenia is becoming more commonplace in society.
