How can we not be fake or pretentious when our genuine side is repulsive to people, women in particular?
Just observe how society treats autists. If we show interest for something that is not easy to understand, such as erudite topics, women instantly perceive us as nerds, autists, freaks or whatever.
I know a variety of topics, but I can never expose my knowledge much, or else I risk being perceived as weird by my social group. Then people complain about others being fake. What else do they expect if they are going to ostracize such people?
