What’s a good workout for abs that solely isolates abs? It’s hard to do planks after push day because my upper body is gone

if you have a leglift stand just use that and do woodchucks for obliques

my favourite exercise is probably using the roller with handles, idk what its called

Crunch machine, progressing eventually to the highest weight which is 200lbs or about 95kg. First 10-20 daily, then 50, then 100, up to as much as you can push yourself towards while achieving total failure (can't do a single more repetition).

At this point every week I throw in 500 - 150x3, then a final 50. It can sound excruciating at first, but you will get used to weighted ab workouts really fast and see much faster progress than with isolated bicep, chest etc. excercises.
I would like to be able to do 1000 one day with no pauses, but that's a long way to go.

That's nice. I was wondering if there's a machine for abs. Free weights or, God forbid, bodyweight exercise, just feel miserable.

just train like a gymnast, ring dips, ring pushups, ring pullups, and u wont need to do direct core work.
