If someone really wants to do it,
and they're fully set on doing it after expending every single option available to them for fixing their problems first...
then there's really nothing you, I, or any of us can actually ever do for them anymore
other than maybe just trying to talk and/or listen to them to help ease their suffering; so they don't have to be alone.
I don't want anyone to do it, and I would never even encourage anyone to do it, but I recognize that eventually at some point I really just can't help them anymoreeven if even when I [do] try.
That said, we should still encourage everyone not to do it and to at least try to fix their problems first before ever truly giving up; we should also still try to help them even if they're already a lost cause.
