It honestly sucks how many boys I see without fathers. Though I have noticed alot of the more stable ones have a father figure of some sorts. That's why it's important to find a father figure

OP will onjoy mental suffering for all of his life

Absent father > abusive father
Absent fathers are usually pieces of shit anyway, it's better not to know your dad if he's an asshole

its better to have a dad for your life long mental health. "its better not to know ur dad if hes an asshole" is exactly u becoming ur dad

Most guys that had no father figure end up behaving like fatherless bastards. Can’t trust the cunts

Depends on what kind of a man your dad is and if he wasn't there for you he likely wasn't a good man. My mental health would be much better if my dad was around and wdym?

Why does every post involving Dads nowadays remind me of @Mirin2234 JFL

Strict Dads > Nice Guy Dads > Absent Dads > Toxic Abusive Dads.

he was there, he gave me food and shelter. he didnt say hi to me ALL YEAR. he never talked to me. and he scared me into getting good grades and scared me not to get a gf. also beat me when i was a kid.

i understand what u mean. but even if a father is shit, having a father is better. u learn to replicate ur father, and have some guidance. but without one ur gonna get influenced by everyone else.

there is no such thing as those archetypes. u need to be strict and nice but not too much or too little either way.

I was speaking from my experience, I don't know what it's like not having a dad, not very based from me, you're right. It's the most brutal thing to be born into an abusive or inadequate family
