I just wanted to show how accutane affected me and if you should take it. Before taking accutane, I had severe acne and so my dermatologist prescribed me dosage slowly rising from 15mg per day, to 40mg per day.

The first image is me a few months into the treatment, the two things it definitely did for me is permanently slim my nose, and also give me dry lips (only while I took it and a few months after stopping)

The second image is me a year after stopping (present day at 17). I used accutane for around a year, from 15 until 16.

Should you use accutane if you have bad acne? I would personally say yes, as alongside the downsides there are many upsides to using it.

You don't feel anything different at least not for me you just have the most amount of acne, took around the rest of the treatment plus the few months after to get to point I'm at now

Since the peak of the purging phase it does get better though
