I've seen ppl like Zeta recommend it if u have cooked skin, but i alwas get told that using accutane is just gonna destroy my body and cook me even more,
is that cope ?
And if its not cope, but the side effects are real, is there any way to fix them fast or straight up block them ?
(sorry for grey im new to ts) :feelswat:

havent really researched about accutane since i have clear skin atm but i think 10/5 mg per day for like whatever your doctor tells you and its pretty annoying

if you dont have acne its almost certainly not what youre looking for. tretinoin cream can help with overall skin quality. accutane isnt gonna destroy your body but it works systemically (on your whole body) so the likelihood of sides is greater. if you have slight acne due to puberty it makes no sense to take it, just use epiduo or antibiotics (talk to your general practitioner) and youll be gucci

no way, doctors will start you on (bodyweight/2)mg and will bump it up to (bodyweight)mg after 2-3 months.

i think we've talked about this already but what's the supposed benefit of doing this compared to a 5-6 month higher-dose cycle?

nuking your liver for your entire life doesn't sound like side-effect-free treatment tbh. especially since at 10mg he'll probably get dry lips and shit anyways

why? im doing a cycle rn since im an adult with persistent, though very mild, acne. i already did a cycle when i was 16 and my acne was much worse. if you wanna get rid of acne forever its your only option. if you have mild acne during puberty it will likely go away once youre grown so its not worth it there

acne is not natural, you dont need toxic manmade chemicals to treat it.

It’s brutal cope , I ran 50mg daily and my only side effect was dry lips, just use Vaseline/aquapore every 1-2 hours and it fine
