I’m going to start Accutane mainly to shrink my nose and nuke my oil glands since I have very oily skin. At 55 kg body weight, what dosage should I take and for how long? Has anyone here experienced lasting nose shrinkage after stopping Accutane, even at low doses like 10 mg daily?

My goal is to permanently reduce oil production and change my skin type from very oily to at least normal or dry. For context, I have clear thick skin with just some persistent blackheads that I can’t get rid of because of my oily skin type.

Also tell me if this is a bad idea

Yeah, terrible idea. Don't self-prescribe Accutane. The side effects can be brutal and permanent.

A derm would calculate your dose based on your weight, but you need bloodwork monitored. The oil reduction and nose changes can be permanent, but it's not worth the risk alone. See a doctor.

Maybe hydrocortisone Accutane only for nose benefits is just unnecessary now pls gimme solution

I've already tried this. Its just not enough, my skin is naturally really oily and since nose has the most oil glands my nose is really bulbous and greasy. Accutane is the only fix for it

Just go to a dermatologist.

Do it 20 mg, jusst because it’s a strong compound does not mean u should micro dose it when u want good results
