My doctor just let me start accutane and he told to start with 20mg but i’m lowkey not trying to wait allat time for my acne to clear up so should i just take 40mg without telling my doctor

this also depends on your weight, severity of acne, and how long you have had it
take 20mg starting regardless

20mg still will be effective, this dosage will also prevent u from purging really hard. So stay at 20mg if ur derm doesn’t tell u otherwise

If you're able to get it from your doctor and he gives you advice, always try that first before you go and start experimenting on your own
